Blue Sage 10cm - Incense
Blue Sage is a cleansing herb with wide medicinal and magical uses. It is often used for cleansing and healing purposes, and is sometimes used during exorcism rituals and to remove malevolent spirits.
Blue sage is a well-known and widely used product among the natives of Central America. This is part of the purification rituals where these spices are smoldered and their sacred smoke is released. It promotes the acquisition of visions and repels negative energy and bad entities. Scientific research has even shown that burning this herb destroys 94% of the bacteria in the room.
So blue sage is a cleansing method that also changes your state of consciousness. It is made from the Artemisia tridentata plant, which grows on the coast of Mexico and California.
Blue sage has a similar scent to lavender .
How to use:
Open the windows and doors to let the negative energy out, then light the blue sage with a candle or match, wait for the flame to form, wave in the air to extinguish the flame. Never blow, as this releases your energy into blue sage , which then dissipates this energy.
Then walk slowly around the room with the scroll and gently make circular motions, being careful to have an abalone or some other fireproof container under the scroll so as not to do damage while the embers are falling.
You can put the blue sage in the abalone and put it out there as well by lightly pressing against the shell.
Native Americans believe that a ritual requires having all 4 elements.
The shell represents water, the sand and herbs represent earth, the smoke represents air and when we light the herbs, it represents fire. All elements must be present in the ritual, because this is the only way the ritual is coordinated and balanced.
Do not place herbs near flammable objects.
