Kyanite is one of two crystals that do not need to be cleansed as it does not absorb negative energy. Blue Kyanite was first discovered in 1789 by A.G. Werner and was named after the Greek word "kuanos," meaning "dark blue." It is often found alongside clear quartz, which only makes this stone stronger! The color of Kyanite can range from very light baby blue to a dark indigo color, resembling a soft black.
